Our Mission
Founded in 2016, Street Angels is a mobile outreach organization dedicated to assisting individuals in ending their homelessness by providing dignified services, advocacy, connections to critical resources, and hope. We are a team of compassionate staff and volunteers who travel directly to those who are experiencing homelessness in Milwaukee County to provide them with unwavering support.
Street Angels aims to provide basic needs, advocacy, and hope through two mobile routes every Tuesday and Thursday night providing nourishment, survival supplies, and hope for a combined 30/hours/week. Also, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Street Angels Showers of Hope outreach provides access to a hot shower via our their 3-stall, ADA compatible shower trailer and other basic needs.

Our Initiatives
We are often first responders to a homeless crisis. See how we support our neighbors.
MOBILE OUTREACH
156 nights per year, our outreach buses provide basic necessities to individuals in Milwaukee County. We average 70 – 90 stops per night, including homeless encampments, park-and-ride lots, beneath bridges, and public meeting spots.
SHOWERS OF HOPE
The mobile shower trailer program is designed to provide dignity on wheels to the Milwaukee community. Guests are provided with clean clothing, towels, hygiene kits, a nutritious bag lunch, and a private hot shower. This program is not only meant for those experiencing homelessness; anyone in the community who is having difficulty accessing a hot shower (and/or an ADA-compliant facility) is welcome to utilize the program.
AWARENESS, ADVOCACY, & EDUCATION
Street Angels’ advocacy initiatives include both individualized and policy-level advocacy. These efforts have connected over 800 individuals to permanent housing resources and have brought county-level resolutions, including “Code Blue” and “Right to Shelter,” meant to protect people from brutal winter weather. Additionally, Street Angels is proud to initiate community education sessions designed to raise awareness and provide education on homelessness in our community.
COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
Through various community partnerships, resources are available for mental health care, harm reduction, and AODA treatment. Because of these partnerships, Street Angels is able to offer life-saving supplies, including Narcan.
